Fairfield Inn & Suites Madison Historic Eagle Cotton Mill

The conversion of the cotton mill into a hotel is stunning, with beautiful river views and a rich historical ambiance. The friendly staff, especially Brandy, made us feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout our stay.

This absolutely gorgeous hotel tempted us with magnificent views. Amiable staff, provided useful info. The room was reasonably large and huge, also it had smoke detectors. The bathroom we had included a shower, hair dryers and bath sheets and a tub.

The historic ambiance was beautifully maintained throughout the hotel.

I was very disappointed with the breakfast service. It was annoying to wait for refills on eggs and bacon, and the limited options were unacceptable. The shared soap bottles felt unclean, and initially, I couldn't find body wash in my room. Over my entire stay, I felt neglected due to the lack of oversight in the breakfast area, which really tarnished my experience.

The breakfast was terrible, it took forever to get someone to refresh the eggs and bacon. There were only toast and bagels! I just couldn't believe they expected me to use shared bottles for soap, completely out of body wash! I almost gave a good review, but these things dfinitley ruined my stay!

Modern and spotless room with central heating, cable programming and a writing desk. Feather pillows, comfortable bed.

Take advantage of the free laundry facility. It's a great perk, though consider doing laundry during off-peak hours.

The beds felt saggy and worn!!! I expected more tissues in the box and an extra roll of toilet paper would be a welcome addition under the sink!!! More comfortable beds would greatly enhance the experience!!!

Equal parts excellent and disappointing

The fine river view enhances the experience , and the historic ambiance of the converted mill is amazing.

The breakfast options were inadequate , requiring me to ask multiple times for the items to be refilled.

Loved the spacious room with river views! The floor to ceiling windows were a big win, and the historical charm. Temperature control was super easy, which I appreciated. Just wish there were more tissues in the box and an extra roll of toilet paper would be nice under the sink. A nice comfy stay!

Surprisingly Good Experience!

We were impressed by the modernized aesthetics of our room and the comfortable lounge area. The hostess's warm welcome set a positive tone. Much appreciate the full bar, perfect for winding down. Future guests should definitely check out the river view rooms for a picturesque stay!

Fairfield Inn provided a calming atmosphere with tall ceilings overlooking the Ohio River. the staff was friendly, making us feel special. the room was spacious, modern, and historical, offering a comfortable stay with a great breakfast selection.

Limited stay, no Eagle Cotton Mill museum.
